The Telecentre.org Academy ecosystem serves as the implementation model of the programme. It consists of the Global Secretariat, national academies, consortium of universities, learning management system, global curriculum, and of course, the learners.

The Global Secretariat
The Telecentre.org Academy’s Global Secretariat is located at Indira Gandhi National Open University Centre for Extension Education with the following functions:
- Facilitate engagement among members of the Consortium of Universities and develop a common charter for them;
- Establish a global curriculum and develop a set of management performance and training standards, programme, and courses towards a system of global accreditation and certification for quality capacity building programmes and knowledge products;
- Assist the development of common accreditation processes, credit schema, credit transfer, and country exchange programmes, amongst Consortium of Universities;
- Perform the functions of Global Secretariat of Telecentre.org Academy administered by Telecentre.org Foundation and IGNOU.
National Telecentre.org Academies
Telecentre networks in several countries have come together as partners to Telecentre.org Academy in a shared vision to develop the skills of telecentre knowledge workers. These national academies include:

Consortium of Universities
The Telecentre.org Academy has partnered with a number of universities around the world in a bid to certify its learners for continuing education and employment. These universities are envisioned to work closely with the national Telecentre.org Academies to fulfil compliance with assessment and qualification standards that apply in individual nations and regions.
