Our Community
telecentre.org is a community
Connected by a shared comittment to increasing the impact of telecentres around the world, many different types of people and organizations make up our community:
Telecentre Networks — Network leaders, technical support providers, trainers, policy advocates, and organizations or government agencies setting up large numbers of centres
Telecentre Leaders — All of the people who manage and support telecentres at the grassroots: telecentre operators, trainers, community developers, volunteers, and social entrepreneurs
Partner Organizations — Oganizations, governments, and companies with whom we form partnerships to implement telecentre.org initiatives
Social Investors — The investors that provide funding and act as catalysts and advocates for the telecentre movement: development agencies, corporations, governments, organizations housing large numbers of telecentres
Researchers — People dedicated to advancing knowledge about telecentre needs, innovations, and impacts.
Support Team — The team, housed by IDRC, that facilitates the telecentre.org initiative
Together we are telecentre.org. To learn more, you can view community directory, check out who's part of the support team, or read our blogs.
