UgaBYTES Initiative http://www.ugabytes.org  a not-for-profit Telecentre Network, has since 2000 been supporting Telecenters to increase their capacity and impact to the grassroots development. UgaBYTES’ major objective is to contribute to ICT development especially in rural and isolated communities through networking, knowledge sharing and technical and human resource development support. The organization has grown organically to become the most influential telecentre network in East Africa using online and offline support services. UgaBYTES is one of the telecentre.org major partners in telecentre networking in Africa.
