Medellin Digital won the Best Practice award in the e-inclusion category, of the 5th Latin American Award of Digital Cities

The program Medellin Digital won the Best Practice award in the e-inclusion category, of the 5^th Latin American Award of Digital Cities, organized by AHCIET. The award aims at rewarding good practices of local government, that work to improve the citizen’ quality of life by using the ICTs. Medellin Digital applied in the e-inclusion category, as it works a lot empowering the citizen, building virtual colaboration and learning networks.

The award recognizes the work that Medellin Digital has done from diferent points of view, as it is a public-private and social partnership, all working together to reduce the digital divide and fostering the social, economic and cultural development of the community.
