CoERI's eLamai Launching
On 10th Decmber 2009 Centre of Excellence for Rural Informatics (CoERI) Universiti Malaysia Sarawak(UNIMAS) has launched eLamai the First DAGS roll out project. The project location is Long Lamai Sarawak, East Malaysia. Where a telecentre powered by solar energy and broadband internet facility by VSAT is build. The launching ceremony is celebrated in village of Long Lamai and UNIMAS simultaneously. A joint teleconference session is also conducted where the researchers/academicians and villagers shared their experiences and expectations from the project.
