If I were to share how much I agree with Herder I would repeat word for word what he said about financial sustainability.
While supporting endowment financing, I don't think it really eliminates the other financing mechanisms. But ofcourse membership fees must be well thought out or else they may never work to cuase impact.

Indeed Niranjan, our concern needs to the degree - a controlled dose - of what is necessary to take the movement to the next level. This includes the themes, principle of operation, and anything that the telecentre universe will need to succeed.

Money Next Door: A key skill for Managers
Recently I attended a workshop in Mombasa. It talked about Money, Money and Money. Malick; Burkina Faso, Mohammed; Mali and Leonel; Mozambique, Meddie; IDRC and Vivian; IDRC also attended with IDRC's telecentre.org support.
