- About Me (biography and organization description)
- I am by profession a Mechanical Engineer. I am the managing trustee of Masjidul Akbar Jumma Mosque. This mosque is founded by my Great Great Grandfather in 1859. It is located in Colombo 2 which is an area populated by many people of all communities belonging to the urban poor. They live in small tenement house with very basic facilities and many find employment in the middle east as workers or house maids. Through the mosque we work to uplift the conditions of muslims living in the area comprising about 50% locally.
