telecentre.org

The telecentre.org photo contest received overwhelming response from all the members. The pictures submitted for the contest captured all the moments and emotions that are so unique to the telecentres, very beautifully. The contest also reaffirmed the popularity of photography among our members. We received 47 entries in total out of which 17 were selected and forwarded to an esteemed panel of judges for their opinions. The judges represented a good mix of people from ICT4D, telecentre and photo journalism sectors. They judged the photos on the basis of theme relevance, creativity and technical quality.

Now, get ready for the results!

Following is the list of the photos that made it to the top five, in no particular order:

eLearning for Village Students by W.M.C.R.K. Disanayake (Sri Lanka)

telecentre.org takes this opportunity to congratulate all the winners. They can look forward to exciting prizes! So, dear winners, don't forget to check your mailbox in the coming days!

At the same time, we would like to thank all the participants for their efforts. Because of you, the telecentre.org community was able to see some beautiful photos and also the work that the telecentres are doing in different parts of the world. It was really fun “celebrating telecentre successes” through the medium of photography.

Thank you everybody for making this contest a success!
