The Telecentre-Europe Summit 2011 will take place during 27-28 October in Brussels, Belgium, and will bring together an invited audience of an estimated 100 telecentre network leaders from across Europe.
The key theme of the event will explore how telecentres improve employment and bring economic growth to their communities. The summit is well known as an important opportunity for digital inclusion organizations across Europe to explore together new services and products, and will include a series of interactive sessions and presentations on:
- SMEs online and productivity
- eSkills for future jobs
- Entrepreneurship and social enterprises
- Proper digital skills for youth (transition from schools to work)
The Telecentre-Europe Summit will also host the official launch of the Employment Toolkit, a packed collection of resources especially designed for telecentre use through the project Key Competences for All. Finally, Telecentre-Europe will recognize some of the best telecentre practices and efforts during the Telecentre-Europe Awards 2011 (launching soon).
Please register for the event online by 30 September 2011!
